Francesc Navarro Bruno
Francesc Navarro begins his clarinet studies at the Professional Conservatory of Music of Manresa with professor Joan Plaja. He later took classes from clarinetists Yehuda Gilad, Joan Enric LLuna
and Anthony
Pay, among others, and studied with Michel Letiech.
He has won the Honorary Awards of professional degree at the Conservatory of Music of Manresa, of higher degree at the Conservatory of Music of Barcelona and First Prize of clarinet unanimously
at the National Conservatory of Nice. He has been a member of the JOSC (Young Symphony Orchestra of Catalonia) and solo clarinet of the Orquesta do Norte de Portugal. He has collaborated with
different orchestral groups such as the Andorran National Orchestra, The English Chamber Players, the Castilla y León Symphony Orchestra, the European Symphony Orchestra, among others. Also in
chamber groups such as Soloists of the Porta Ferrada, Soloists of Santa Maria la Major, Berg Trio, OBC Cane Trio and OBC Wind Quintet. He is a founding member of the Clarinet Quartet a4,
organizers since 2000 of the International Clarinet Course of Prades.
He has been a clarinetist at the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra since 2003 and a professor of clarinet and chamber music at the Liceu Conservatory of Music.
