Xi, Weilong

World renowned clarinetist, professor, and mentor Mr.Weilong Xi is the Vice President of the Chinese Musician Association's Wind Music Society. He has been awarded the "Ou Yong Xi Music Education Award" from the Ministry of Culture. In addition, he is the Vice President of “China Clarinet Society”, Guangdong Higher Education Professional Qualification Committee Member, and President of “Guangdong Wind Music Association”.

Mr. Xi has been an active voice in the jury of many prestigious competitions. He was the jury in the final round for the “China Music Golden Bell Awards”, jury director of the “Vienna International Clarinet Competition”, and jury member of the “Central Conservatory Music Woodwind Chamber Music Competition”.

Mr. Xi has assumed many distinguished positions, including deputy director of the Orchestra Department of Xi'an Conservatory of Music, director of the Orchestra Department of Xinghai Conservatory of Music and member of the Academic Committee.
